Biography —
Dr. Gulnihal Kucuksayacigil is a researcher specializing in Electrical and Mechatronics Engineering. During her doctoral studies, she got expertise in Robust Control Theory and Networked System Control. With a strong background in both theoretical and applied aspects of control engineering, Dr. Gulnihal Kucuksayacigil is currently working as Postdoctoral Researcher at the Garrison Flight Research Center, contributing to advancements in Robust Control of UAVs.

She most recently served as a researcher at Uskudar University in Istanbul, Turkey, from September 2022 to September 2023. During this period, she led a research project on the "Optimal Distributed Control of Multiple Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)," supported by the Tubitak 2236-International Experienced Researcher Circulation Support Program and the Horizon 2020 Marie Skolodowska Curie Research Program. Dr. Kucuksayacigil has published numerous papers in prestigious conferences and journals. Her notable publications include works on H∞ optimal distributed tracking control via reinforcement learning, H2 optimal distributed controllers, and sensorless LQR control for vibration suppression of flexible systems.
