Flight Test

The Garrison Flight Research Laboratory at the University of Kansas specializes in the implementation of novel aircraft guidance, navigation, and control algorithms with flight test validation. With an extensive collection of UAS platforms spanning the fixed-wing, VTOL, and copter categories in weights from 5 to 1,100 pounds, the FRL has vast flight test capabilities across applications. With over 50 successful flights a year, the FRL is committed to testing and verifying algorithms advancing the future of aerospace autonomy.
