Biography —
From a young age, regular visits to the National Air & Space Museum fed into his passion for flight; however, a severe case of Tourette's has kept him from his dream of being pilot. Instead of staying grounded, he redirected his passion into his research on aircraft autonomy.
Research —
Jeffrey's current research interests are in nonlinear feedback control with a focus on control Lyapunov and control barrier functions (CLF-CBFs) to synthesize stable aircraft guidance laws while ensuring safety under local system and environmental constraints. He is currently applying his experience from the FRL as a full-time GNC intern at Sandia National Laboratories.
